Be prepared to write 2 mini-reflection essays on both of these readings regarding their point of view about Douglass and his position as a former as well as a fugitive slave. Take notes about Christianity. You will be graded on content as well as your ability to use critical thinking skills. 45 minutes on Monday!

Monday HW:Read chapters 1 & 2 and answer questions (they will be posted by Monday, probably this weekend though). Be prepared to discuss these chapters in class on Tuesday as well as do related activities.
